Scenic hiking and walking trails are found along the entire route, along with picnic and recreation areas. You’ll stand next to 250-year-old Norway pine trees at the White Pine Interpretive Trail or watch the ore boats being loaded in Two Harbors. The Skibo Vista provides a 20-mile scenic view of the Laurentian Divide. Gooseberry Falls State Park and Split Rock Lighthouse State Park offer great walking trails and unbelievable, majestic fall views. Make sure to bring along a camera and binoculars.
