Trap shooting begins at 5 p.m. at the East Range Shooting Sports Facility's Red Top Range outside of Aurora. Shooting is every Tuesday through late fall. Open to all shooters. Range fees are $5 per round for members.

Saturday, September 27, 2014 to Sunday, November 2, 2014

Find pumpkins, visit the animals, go for a hay ride and more at Mr. Ed's Farm, weekends September 27-28 through Nov 1-2. Hours are 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Admission is $5 per person. Children 2 and under are free. Bring a picnic lunch and spend the day exploring!

This special exhibit features photos and stories of Holocaust survivors living in Minnesota. Their lives are constant reminders about the value of freedom and the enduring human spirit.

Visit the Museum of the Iron Range, Minnesota Discovery Center in Chisholm, and uncover history, geology and maybe even your own family stories! Visit exhibits, see a performance by mining prospector Cuyler Adams (a historical character), and take part in activities for all ages.

The launch party will take place on October 6, 2014, at 7pm, at the B'nai Abraham Synagogue, in cooperation with the Virginia Area Historical Society. Refreshments will be served. Author Jeffrey Smith will read excerpts from the novel, sign copies and answer questions.

The Field of Screams is the Region's SCARIEST Haunted Tour! Set at the MN Discovery Center in Chisholm, this 1/2 tour features 15 indoor and outdoor scenes. We have 200 volunteers each night and donate proceeds to charities.

This indoor/outdoor event at the Aurora Community Center on the corner of Main and First St. West celebrates fall's favorite symbole: the pumpkin. Join the fun from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and check out craft vendors, baked goods and many, many pumpkins!

Play based on beloved children's book "Honk the Moose," in which two young boys try to save a new friend during the long winter in Biwabik, MN. Based on a true story. The book was a Newberry honor recipient in 1936.
