Hibbing Memorial Building/Arena

When your event requires seating for up to 4,460 or a capacity crowd of 5,460 people, Hibbing's multi-purpose arena is the solution. Centrally located to Minnesota's Iron Range communities, this multiple-use facility annually hosts:

The arena permanently seats 3,460 plus floor surface concert seating capacity of an additional 1,000 and standing room for 1,000 more bring the total arena occupancy level to 5,460. The facility is handicap accessible throughout.

Ice sheets, measuring 200 feet x 90 feet, are perfected by a Lower Level modern ice plant capable of handling two rinks. New flooring, sideboards, and plexi-glass shields transform the arena into a world-class hockey rink. A basketball floor covers the ice for multi-recreational activities.

Sound, lighting, and convenient media centers are built into the facility. Dressing rooms, seven athletic team locker rooms with showers are available for competitive events.

Arena concert seating, dry floor use including trade show exhibit space measures 20,000 square feet. Oversized access vehicle doors enhance set up and break down scheduling for large event planners.

Little Theater/Auditorium

Built in the early 1930s, the Little Theater preserves the historical ambiance of stage performances from past decades. Theater-style seating accommodates 260 people. A film projection system, stage - including curtains, lighting, staging, and storage accessibility are all available.The Little Theater is walk a through the past.

Banquet & Kitchen Facilities

The newly remodeled, Lower-Level Dining Room can be fully-utilized for groups up to 250, or partitioned to accommodate medium-sized groups of 100 or less. Complete kitchen facilities are available for preparation and serving banquet-style meetings for up to 300 people. Menu planning assistance with full "turn-key" services can be included in banquet packages. Catering is provided by customer.

Meeting and Breakout Rooms

Smaller groups, not requiring the space of the arena, theater or banquet room for meetings, may select from a menu of breakout rooms. The Canteen, Labor Quarters, and Rehearsal Room comfortably seat between 25 and 35 persons. Adjacent parking lot accommodates 250 vehicles with additional space available surrounding the facility.
