Iron Range showcased through community videos
Virginia, Minn. – The Iron Range is now showcased through community videos recently produced by the Iron Range Tourism Bureau. A total of ten community videos have been produced by the bureau.
The community videos were filmed to further enhance the user experience at www.ironrange.org. These videos offer a visual of all that these ten communities have to offer including retail, events, and unique experiences and may be found on their respective pages on ironrange.org.
One video of each of the Iron Range Tourism Bureau’s ten member communities has been produced. The ten communities are: Aurora, Biwabik, Chisholm, Eveleth, Gilbert, Hibbing, Hoyt Lakes, Mt. Iron, Town of White, and Virginia.
The Iron Range communities are so unique in their own way. Each video, which is one to two minutes in length, focuses on the unique attributes of the individual towns. Hibbing’s video focuses on their history as well as Bob Dylan and various events while Biwabik’s and Town of White’s video showcase their many recreational activities as well as the events they’re famous for. Each and every video tells a story of the community and the Iron Range.
These videos are posted on the respective community pages at ironrange.org as well as YouTube. The videos may also be seen on the Iron Range Tourism Bureau’s facebook page.
Cheyenne Denny, Executive Director of the Iron Range Tourism Bureau, is pleased with the outcome of the new videos (filmed and produced by WA Fisher Interactive) and is particularly elated about the response to the videos on social networking sites such as YouTube and facebook.
“I’m thrilled about the production of the community videos,” said Denny. “What better way to showcase our ten communities than through the use of video, giving viewers the ability to experience each one first hand.” The addition of the videos is just one way the Iron Range Tourism Bureau has been working to improve the user experience on its website and create an awareness of all that the Iron Range has to offer.
